PROPOSED RECOMMENDATION

To award a construction contract to R H Fullwood Ltd at a value of £378,079.15 for construction of an extension to Skipton Crematorium, Waltonwrays Cemetery, Skipton.

BACKGROUND TO SUPPORT THE RECOMMENDATION

A competitiveprocurement exercise was undertaken during March/April 2024 utilising the YORbuild framework.  The scheme is programmed to commence on site in July 2024 and is due to complete in September 2024.

LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE COMPLIANCE

A competitive procurement exercise was undertaken by the Council’s Procurement and Contract Management Service.

RECOMMENDATION

That a construction contract be awarded to R H Fullwood Ltd.
